The renowned pan African designer Mustafa Hassanali showcased his latest

collection at Arise Magazine Fashion Week (AMFW) 2012 taking place in lagos.

The collection titled Afrikalos, a Greek word meaning beauty was inspired by the sight, sound, rhythm, vibrancy and vivaciousness which define the

beauty of our motherland Africa. 

The sole fashion designer from Tanzania at AMFW, his collection blew everyone away. African prints were featured in his designs in a minimalistic way, whilst the zebra prints and feathers gave the collection a safarri feel. With bright colours and silhouettes that show of a woman's figure, Hassanali's creativity shown through.
